What 5 Apps
===
Every business will have an app of some sort even if it's white labelled
but customers are making their own decisions on what to use.
They are making their own decisions to perhaps buy
my zone or map my run.
Choose five apps and then choose to support those.
Lots of people are now bringing their own devices

Bring your own device.
It can be a challenge because people download apps that they like.
A simple strategy for you would be to learn or have five recommended apps in your business that customers can download off the internet.
You can have a pop up stand at your club/facility that says we can teach you any one of these five apps and there's
LF Connect, Map my Fitness, Runtastic, a nutrition app, GymPro
Then when those companies update their apps you haven't got to pay for that.
When Under Armour invest more money in updating map my ride or map my fitness, they've spent the money on that and you just say to your customers, we'll teach you how this latest version works to get the most out of your workout.
It's a simple approach to technology.
You need to be able to explain their screens, what they are recording and what the numbers mean.
Increasingly wearable technology is becoming more and more and more sophisticated.
I spoke with Nike a few years ago.
They were looking at their fuel band and I know they are not doing the fuel band any more but they were looking at the fuel band and they were asking for research ideas.
The fuel band takes information about the runner traditionally and sends it up into the cloud or up into wherever it's going.
I said, so why can't we send stuff back?
Woah!
They said what do you mean?

They said that's not what it's for.
I said I know that's not what you designed it for, but you're asking for research proposals and I'm suggesting we start sending stuff back.
You like to run,
Well done
Did you realise you did it in this much shorter time than you did last time?
